A graduate of San Marcos high school and the University of Texas at Austin, El has been doing debate since they were 14 years old. Coach Contreras joined the L.C. Anderson team last year as a first-year teacher and is delighted to continue their career with this amazing community!

Claire joins the L.C. Anderson debate team this year. She previously worked at Dripping Springs High School, alongside Coach Contreras’ very own debate coach Davy Holmes! Claire will be teaching English and Journalism at Anderson and coaching the speech team! We are so glad to have Coach Zimmerman join our team!
